A Story of Adventure, Hard Work & Coming Home

We are Irina and Alex, the husband-and-wife team behind SunnyCoast HomeS.

Our journey didn’t start in Spain — it started in Portugal, where we first discovered our love for coastal living, warm communities, and Mediterranean culture. Life then took us across the Atlantic to Orlando, Florida, the theme-park capital of the world, where we chased new opportunities and embraced the American dream.

What began as a small idea soon grew into something much bigger.

What began as a small idea grew into something much bigger. In Orlando, we built a successful property management business from the ground up, managing over 200 homes. Along the way, we learned invaluable lessons:

How to build something from scratch
How to work together as a team
How to adapt, grow, and overcome challenges
How to treat people with honesty, respect, and care

It was a chapter full of challenges, wins, and unforgettable memories. But despite the success we found in Florida, our hearts longed for the Mediterranean way of life — the sea, the sun, the rhythm, the balance, and the warmth of the community.

That’s when we made the decision to return to Europe and begin a new chapter in a place that truly felt like home: Málaga, the heart of the Costa del Sol.

Irina

Hi, I’m Irina and I’m in charge of Property Care. My job is to make sure every home we manage feels calm, cared for, and truly ready to be lived in. I coordinate our cleaners, inspectors, and maintenance team, checking everything from fresh linen and soft towels to the little fixes no one notices until they’re missing. We look after our owners’ properties as if they were our own, so every guest arrives to a home that feels special, not just another place to stay.

Alex

Alex is deeply rooted in the hospitality industry, a passion that began in his early years and was influenced by his family’s lineage of hoteliers. His extensive experience is complemented by a keen understanding of technology. Always staying ahead of the curve, Alex leverages cutting-edge tools and strategies in marketing and automation to deliver top-tier services. With a commitment to excellence and a penchant for innovation, he consistently strives to offer unparalleled experiences for both property owners and guests alike.
