Holiday rental management for Mijas, Mijas Costa and La Cala.
Own a property here but live somewhere else? SunnyCoast HomeStays manages listings, pricing, bookings, guests, cleaning, inspections and maintenance coordination—while you keep control of your home and personal-use dates.
Mijas is not one uniform holiday-rental market. The municipality combines a historic mountain village with coastal and residential communities, each creating different guest expectations and operational needs.
A home in Mijas Pueblo should not be presented like a beach apartment in La Cala or a villa near Calahonda. We build the listing, arrival information and management plan around the real property—not a generic town description.
For homes in or around Mijas Pueblo, accurate information about access, parking, stairs, views and distance to local attractions is essential. These details help the right guests book and arrive with realistic expectations.
In La Cala, guests often want to understand beach access, restaurants, the coastal path, parking and what can genuinely be reached on foot. We explain those details clearly rather than relying on vague claims such as “close to everything.”
These coastal communities include apartments, townhouses and villas with different entrances, shared facilities and access arrangements. Clear driving directions, parking information, pool rules and honest descriptions of the immediate area prevent avoidable problems.
Our Costa del Sol property management service brings the complete rental operation together. Depending on your selected plan, it can include:
The goal is not simply to place your home online. It is to run it reliably, present it accurately and give both the owner and guest a clear local point of contact.
See our current property management plans and pricing. Read our holiday rental management cost guide to see how fees are calculated.
Distance makes even small property issues harder. A delayed cleaner, an access problem or a maintenance fault can quickly affect the next stay when nobody is available locally.
SunnyCoast coordinates the day-to-day operation in Mijas while keeping you informed. This may suit you if you live outside Spain, rent the home when you are not using it, already have an Airbnb or Booking.com listing, or simply want professional support without running the rental yourself.
You remain in control of your calendar. If you already have a listing and reviews, we review the existing setup before recommending whether it can continue under management.
Holiday rentals in Andalucía are regulated accommodation. The correct requirements can depend on regional tourism rules, municipal planning, the property’s community arrangements and its individual history.
Before advertising, owners should verify that the property is eligible, correctly recorded and able to meet the applicable operating, safety and guest-support obligations. SunnyCoast provides licensing support and can coordinate with qualified legal and tax professionals; we do not replace lawyers, accountants or public authorities.
Read our Andalucía tourist licence guide or learn about our legal and tax coordination service.
Send the address, property type, number of bedrooms, current rental status and any dates you want to reserve for yourself.
We review the home, its location and current market conditions, then explain its realistic potential and practical requirements.
If you continue, we visit the property and agree the management plan. Required preparation, photography, listing work and operating information are completed before launch.
We manage bookings, prices, guests, cleaning, inspections and maintenance coordination while you retain ownership and calendar control.
If your Mijas home is already advertised, the first step is to review what is in place: future bookings, owner-use dates, listing permissions, keys and any outstanding maintenance. We discuss what can continue and what needs changing before a handover is agreed.
For a Mijas Pueblo home, record the actual arrival route and any access or parking restrictions. For a La Cala or Mijas Costa apartment, include the correct building entrance, garage access and community instructions.
Use our management handover checklist and holiday-home inventory guide to prepare. Tell us about your Mijas property to discuss the next step.
Depending on the plan, services can include staging advice, photography, listing setup and distribution, dynamic pricing, bookings, guest communication, cleaning coordination, inspections, maintenance coordination and owner reporting.
Our full-management plans are 18%, 20% or 25% plus IVA, depending on the service level. Compare the inclusions and how charges are calculated on our management pricing page. We confirm the plan and any property-specific costs before you commit.
Yes. Reserve your personal-use dates before they are booked by guests. Existing confirmed bookings must be honoured; we agree the available calendar and any preparation time around your stays.
We assess suitable properties in Mijas Pueblo, La Cala de Mijas, Mijas Costa, Riviera del Sol, Miraflores, Calahonda and nearby areas. Send us the address so we can confirm coverage and suitability.
Tell us where the property is, how many bedrooms it has and whether it is already being rented. We will review the home, its location and current demand, then explain the next steps clearly. Free assessment, no obligation and no guaranteed-income promise. If you are still planning the setup, start with our Costa del Sol holiday rental owner guide. You can also compare all Costa del Sol areas we serve.
